Well, the bottle thing is still an issue with Ben and I. There are days that I think, "oh yes he's finally got it. By tomorrow it should be all good and we will have no more issues with him taking a bottle." Then the next day every sip will be a struggle, there will be screaming and hysterics. Today was not a good day for the bottle, I thought after yesterday's 3 1/2 ounces that today would be a breeze. Well it wasn't, there was only an ounce out of the bottle and I'm not sure how much of that got into Ben's stomach. Most of that ounce is on his bib and on the floor.
It's funny how much you can love someone and despise everything they do at the same time. This bottle incident was only 15 mins. ago and now Ben is just sitting here with me at the computer being as cute as can be. I know this will only be the first of many struggles we will go through together, but I'm getting frustrated already.
We'll make it though, right. My kid will one day be a bottle drinker, someone who goes to the bathroom by himself and can do a few things with out me right by his side for more then a few minutes at a time.
I know that one day I will look back at these days and think, "remember those days when the only problems we had were when you won't take a bottle." Right now it is hard to see the forest for the trees.

Snow Day?
Today my little family was going to venture out to White Rock to spend our day on the beach. Then I woke up to snow. It snowed in April, I can't believe it!!!! This is turning out to be a very strange 'spring'.

A nice day to relax outside
By George I Think We've Got It
Well, yesterday was our slow pitch teams first win of the season and it was only our third game!!!! We are already doing so much better then last year. It was an exciting game. My dad go another home run and I got a triple. It so nice to play this year, I don't have to worry about hurting myself. I slid twice yesterday even though I think it was only necessary once. I really missed sliding last year. At the end of the game we won 14-9, it was a really good game and the sun even came out for us to play. Our last couple of games it has threatened to rain and been very cold.
Way to go Robot Monkey Pirates!!!!!!

The Best Laid Plans
Well, God truely has the best laid plans. Mike and I have been thinking and praying about what to do this fall for a long while now. You know, do we stay or do we go. We looked at all the pros and cons of both sides. Now that we desided not to go things have been starting to fall into place. One of the reasons that we desided not to go was that it would be easier for us to get work around here rather then in a small town. Just this last week Mike and I might have both found work for the fall. It is almost comical how when things are right God shows you in the most amazing ways.
Thank you to all those who are praying for us and who are helping us out in every way that they can. We are so greatful

Star Wars is in his Blood
The kid can't really help it, but he is R2D2. Oh, in this picture Ben is the sideways one that has more flesh colour than any of the other ones. We has actually bought this onies when Ben was just a future thought, like March last year. Now the silly thing is getting too small for him. We really wanted it to fit him in the summer so he could just go around in just the onies, but the kid is huge.

Home Sweet Home
Well, this week the decision was made and we are no longer going to move to Saskatwan. This wasn't an easy over night thing, so we are really hoping that we are doing the right thing here. Mike is lookng into working as an intern this fall or just going to school full time and working somewhere else part time. (Sorry Uncle Perry and Auntie Dawna. I was looking forward to living near you family.) We do still have some decisions to make about Mike and school and me and work so please continue to pray for us as we enbark upon this new different adventure.
