Quinlan 9 months

Our little Quinny is already 9 months old.
He does an army crawl.
Still doesn't like to eat.
All of a sudden a screamer when he wants something.
Still full of laughs and good times.
Wants to be like his big brother.
Follows Benard and Addison around around our place.
Makes friends where ever he goes because he is so smiley.

Birthday boy Benard

Today is Benard's third birthday! He has been growing up so much lately it is crazy. At this very moment he is sitting on the toilet before bed. I'm so proud to have a potty trained kid, especially considering that I had no idea what I was doing and he did most of the work. Ben is like that though, when he gets to a new stage, he is the first one to figure everything out not me and not Mike.

Right now Ben is figuring things out about God and who baby Jesus is. It is so amazing to hear my little boy figuring out these things. He now knows that Jesus came to earth to save us. What a wonderful privilege it is to share our faith with our kids and then to see them understanding what is going on.

There are many adventures and many challenges along the way with Ben, but we are all working together to see the man of God that he will become. Here's to Benard on his birthday, may God bless you and keep you.

Two More Days

I know that this time of year everyone is thinking about Christmas, but in our house before we get to it there is Ben's birthday and this year Quin will be 9 months old. So much celebrating to do and so little time.

Trimming the Tree

Happy Christmas everyone.
Here are a few pictures of use trimming our tree this year. Ben got to stay up, but Quin was sleeping.

What is decorating the tree without a few Christmasy beverages? We thought eggnog and apple cider would do just right.

Here Mike and Benard are "fluffing" the tree. Ben was just shaking his arms around while Mike did the work.

Putting the lights on was taking too long so Ben decorated the bottom and went to bed and then Mike and I finished the tree.

Benard's first ornament, we still need to get one for Quinlan though. Anyone know where to a baby's first Christmas one? I've look a few places, but can't find one that I like.

Merry Christmas everyone, I hope you are enjoying time with family and taking time to remember why we are celebrating.

Fun Times at the Park

Just a few pictures from Saturday when my boys and I went to the park with Addison and Rachel.

Ben really was trying to push Addison in the swing. I hope he didn't scare her.

Ben on a really strange see saw. He still loves it though.

I just love this kind of weather. The sun was shining and the air was crisp, too nice to stay inside. Ben also loves just being outside, so we invited our 'neighbors' to go to the park with us. It was a nice walk and play time was great, the reason I love it most of all is so that when Quinlan gets cold I can say that is why we are on our way home. Got to love shoving the blame on someone else. Hehe.

Benard's 3rd Birthday Party

Here are a few pictures of Ben's birthday party. He has so much fun and wanted to say thank you to everything how came and for the wonderful gifts.

It was a working party and Ben's friends really got into the working thing.

Ben got a cool new bike and tried it out and he really doesn't know how to peddle at all. His running bike was so much easier to get around.
