Week 2 of Tomatoes

These are the types of tomatoes that I decided to try and grow for my first time out. I was very surprised to see how fast the seeds were to grow and am wondering if I planted them too really. So here we go. A few pictures of the seedlings and the kid of tomatoes they should be one day this summer.

Here's to seeing if I have a green thumb.

First Garden

So I thought I would start a garden this year. I'm not sure where I'm going to plant everything yet, but yesterday I got some seeds and am starting my planning. This year I am going to try and plant tomatoes, zucchini, peas, beans and carrots. I know this might not be easy considering I don't have a lot of room and not a lot of sun, but I thought it was worth a try and I would love to can my tomatoes if they grow well.

I started my garden today by planting two kinds of tomato seeds for a little inside growing time to get big and strong before they go outside.

As a family we are trying to do things to get and keep healthy, so we are hoping that the garden will get us outside and get us eating good foods that we grew ourselves. I will try and keep you updated with pictures of how we and our garden are doing. Here are our tomatoes in there little green house.

Morning at the Park

We took the boys to Mill Lake this morning or at Ben calls it "the train park." There are a few playgrounds at Mill Lake and that is how he defines this one. It was wonderful weather and the boys all had a great time. We were also so glad that grandma B could come and join us.

Here is a picture of Quinlan finally letting go of things and trying to stand on his own.

All the boys making silly faces.
The biggest of all my kids.

Ben is becoming a great climber. I am finally becoming comfortable
with him climbing all over the playground.

A picture of the boys together is hard to capture these days.

We tried to get Ben to ride his bike, but he doesn't like the peddles and the result is that he walks beside the bike. He will have great balance once he actually rides it, but right now not sure if the run bike made bike riding easier at all.

My little man is looking closer and closer to walking everyday now.
