A Snow Day (Ben has been waiting 'forever')

Ben seems to have been waiting for this snow day for a couple of months now. I don't even know how he remembers about snow because I don't even think we had a snow day last year. Anyway, he has been asking to make snow balls for a few weeks now and finally there was enough snow to actually do that.

I thought even though they may not like it, I would take the little kids out in the snow too. Today is one of the days that Addison is over.
Here are a few pictures before going out in the snow. This is what each kid was wearing under there snow suits.

Here are the two little ones. I don't think either could move at all, because once we got outside they didn't move from the spots I put them.

Here's Benard working hard with daddy to get all the snow off the driveway and car.

If you look closely you can see a tear on her cheek, she wasn't too impressed to be so restricted by her snow suit.

Quinlan was his giddy little self and just sat there and if anyone talked to him he smiled at them.

I actually got all three kids in a picture together. I was really impressed with myself anyway.

Oh look, Mike and I were out in the snow too.

Quinlan 8 months old

Quinlan is already 8 months old. He is getting around with a little army crawl these days and I am already missing leaving him in one spot and finding him there. He seems to get every where really fast these days and is never where I left him, that is unless I sit him up and then he can't seem to get down. Some days I sit him up a lot so he doesn't get under foot.

Lets see, what else? Oh yes, Quinlan now has five teeth which he seems to have grown all of them in under a month. He still doesn't like eating and just likes to drink milk. I think he just likes the easy life of not working on getting bigger, because that is all that he really does. Quinlan is really big on growing.
He really wanted to get his hands on the camera, so it was a little challenging to take these pictures.

Here he is sitting with his pig that he is now almost as big as.

After lunch with the Kiddos

We were having a lot of fun this afternoon before Ben's nap time. The above picture even looks like Addison is standing on her own, but she's leaning against the couch. Now that the kids all enjoy playing together it makes for really fun times when they are all in good moods at the same time.

I just love this cheesy hat the I found really cheap one day. Makes for really cute pictures too.

Quinlan sleeping

Quinlan feel asleep after a few sips of his evening bottle the other night and I thought it was just so cute that I wanted to share it with all of you. I'm sure I'll think it is even cuter then anyone else because he is my cute giant baby, but I thought some others might like it too.

I couldn't believe how big he looked just lying there in our living room. He is just a giant and there is nothing I can do to slow him down, and to think he doesn't even like eating.

Halloween

Ben getting candy from Aunty Rachel before going to the mall. Rachel looks like she is having more fun then Ben in this picture.

I guess we got to the mall a little too late this year. Almost all the stores were out of candy by the time we got there, but at least for our kids going to the mall includes a visit with grandma so it is always a good time.

We ran into Dr. Addison Tops at the mall.

Here the boys are with police woman Gabby, Yoda (Judah), Quinlan was Darth Vader and Ben was a pumpkin. This was just before taking them trick or treating.

Ben and Gabby lasted a lot longer than the little guys. The daddy's took the little ones home after a few houses and us mommy's kept going with the 'big' kids.

Ben with his candy after the night was over.

It was a fun evening to spend with our family. Just going out meeting friends a.nd getting candy. I just love dressing my kids up and playing dress up with them

Ben and the spider

So one night this last month we were sitting @ dinner and when we were almost done he starts saying there is a spider on the table. He was talking about his hands. He got so animated that these pictures really don't capture the moment, but we all had a great time with the whole spider thing. At one point he talked about a little black speck on his food being a spider and at first I convinced him it was just part of dinner. When he finally eat it I told him it was a spider.......it was soooo funny when he thought it was a spider. I couldn't believe the faces that he made.

Anyway it was a really fun evening as a family. Even Ben going to bed after that was really fun with lots and lots of hugs and kisses.

Here Ben is with his 'spiders' just flying through the air.

Quinlan Almost Crawling

So Quinlan is almost crawling and I've been thinking of all the things I might have to change around my house to keep him safe and me sane. The reason that I really think about this today is because of Addison. Addison is getting into everything that Ben doesn't even think to get into anymore. I really enjoyed having a little guy that I could keep track of. Now I will have to keep an eye on a runner and soon a crawler, going out will never be the same again.
