Quinlan is now 10 Months

Here Quinlan is, ten month old and ready to tackle the world. I don't believe he will really learn to crawl, but skip right to walking. These days the 'little' guy likes to pull him self up on everything and walk along it. I guess the view is better from up there. He currently is working on tooth number nine and now has a soother. Crazy kid hated them at first and now can't get through the day without it.

As usual here are a couple of pictures to document the next stage of this little guys life. We love him and love to see him grow and learn.

My little Green Cleaner and a Poopy morning

I just need to say before I start, this is not a plug for this product it is just what happened to me this morning.

This morning Ben and Mike were up and Mike decided to come back to bed. When I got up I found Ben in the bathroom and now three hours later my house still smell like perfume and I have a head ache. So silly me I thought that was the only trouble that Ben got into while he was awake and we weren't. Later Mike took Ben for a shower and found that he was going commando, no pull ups under his pjs, so Mike asked him why? Ben said he was poopy so he took them off and he said he wiped up, so really we thought not too big of a deal.

Later on while I was helping Ben get dressed in the living room I notice a brown streak on the floor so I asked Ben where he too his pull up off. He took it off where the brown streak was. So I finished getting him dressed and then went to get my handy dandy Little Green Cleaner.

I love my Little Green Cleaner, but I am not usually the one to use it. If we use it at home usually Mike does that while I distract the kids in the other room. Also we lend it out a lot to Rachel and Ian and my parents. The point is that I got the poop out and was liking cleaning so much that I just kept going. I got all the little spots that I have been meaning to get for months now. I love to vacuum and have a clean floor, but this is soooo super clean that I'm just loving it.

All this happened while Mike was running out the door this morning, because it was a little crazy getting Ben ready this morning from us sleeping while he was awake. I don't think we'll be doing that again anytime soon.

Snow Day number 2 for us here!

Benard and I finally got outside in the snow/rain today. I was sick on Sunday and so I didn't get to have a adventure in the snow with him on that day, but we made if fun today even though it was getting kind of crummy out.
I don't remember making a snow man being so hard.
It was not to bad to do the bottom ball, but getting the second one on top of the first was really, really hard. In the end our snow man only got two balls because I only get one on top.

Ben had to have a hat and scarf and arms to be a snowman.

Christmas

There were so many good Christmas memories and I just thought I would capture a few to share with the people who still read this. It can be so busy that it is hard to enjoy the moments while they are happening, but looking back it is so nice and peaceful and I love that my two little guys have so much family that love them near by. Love to you all and my hope is that you have fond memories of this Christmas passed as well.
This is the one and only present that Quinlan tired to open by himself. After a while Ben got impatient and joined him, but at least Quinlan tired once.

Here the grandchildren are with grandma and papa hearing about Christ's birth and what Christmas is all about.

Our moments at home were crazy, but really fun. The boys got a new bed that they will share later, but Ben woke up in it and was a little confused.

Having a little birthday cake for Jesus.
December is filled with a lot of birthday cake at our house so we thought we would add another and have it for breakfast. And yes it was the only thing we had for breakfast.

Benard on top of the new bed.

Both boys under the bed checking things out. (This is where Quinlan's bed will be later.)

A few pics. from grandma and granddad's.

The twins. My mom says that Quinlan looks just like granddad, and sometimes I can even see red in the little guys hair. I guess he really is a mini granddad.
